Daniel and Ivy Marsack have both experienced a lifelong journey of faith and service to the Lord. Ivy graduated from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education, while Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Purdue University. They each met the Lord at a young age—Daniel in an Assemblies of God church and Ivy in a Baptist church in Puerto Rico. After relocating to the U.S. in 1985, Ivy began attending an Assemblies of God church, where her faith continued to grow.
Both Daniel and Ivy felt a strong call from the Holy Spirit to make a difference in their community. They noticed a growing number of children in their area running up and down the streets without much supervision or direction. This burden for the children led to the birth of Backyard Bible Club, a ministry designed to bring hope and the love of Christ to these kids.
Backyard Bible Club held its first meeting on April 16, 2022, and since then, Daniel and Ivy have been dedicated to sharing the gospel and nurturing the next generation through engaging Bible lessons, fun activities, and building strong, supportive relationships within their community.
